Hey everyone,
I am going to be changing the way things are done here. Originally, my goal was to not only help and teach people how to make money with GPT sites but to also give sites a try, together. There are so many GPT sites out there and it's nice to have a group of people who can share their experiences with each other so we know which sites to stick with and which sites to avoid.
We can still do that, I certainly am not insinuating that members can't work sites on their own. However, what I am saying is that, at least for now, the IWC will only be holding contests on certain sites.
The reasons is simple;
Duplication of offers.
It is very difficult to keep track of what offers you did where and when. Some people write them down, most people don't bother to do anything at all.
I suggest everyone look over Mike's method of tracking offers, it seems to work well for him. You can find that information here:
Tips for Completing Offers and Keeping Track of Them
Fraud is becoming a VERY serious issue within the GPT world. It has gotten so out of hand that the site admins now have a forum where they will post the user name of a person who has been caught committing fraud, so as to warn other admins to be on the lookout.
Seems harsh? I don't think so. People who do this are the reason why things have gotten so bad lately. They are ruining things for those of us who participate on these sites legitimately.
The biggest type of fraud happening is using false information. You MUST use correct information. This is starting to include the use of voice mailbox services, like Privatephone. I know Privatephone is going to be discontinuing it's free services but there are other services that are similar. The use of this is becoming more and more discouraged.
Using prepaid debit cards or gift accounts. Many GPT sites now have it on their TOS that these are NOT allowed to be used.
I am currently digging for answers to solve these issues.
In the meantime, one thing I can do is limit the sites the IWC will hold contests on. This way, members won't be all over the map trying to make money within the community and hopefully this will make it easier for you all to keep track of what offers you did and where..
I will be making another post listing the sites I have chosen.
